As **Procurement Specialist**, you will provide expert guidance on procurement and contract management. You will be responsible for the establishment and management of significant contracts for goods and services that are critical to the operation of the company. You will also be responsible for providing procurement advice and support to other lines of business within the company for general procurement activities.
- Effectively establish and manage contracts for goods and services that are critical to the operations of the company in accordance with legislation, audit regulations and Procurement policies.
- Provide input into budget requests in areas of assignments.
- Ensure procurement activities are managed, developed and implemented in accordance with specified parameters meeting timeframes, budgets and objectives.
- Ensure procurement and contract objectives are achieved and deliver value for money outcomes.
- Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to internal customers.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of best practice processes, procedures and systems relating to procurement and contract management.

**Qualifications / Experience / Skills**
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma (Engineering)
- Minimum 4 years job experience required
- Excellent knowledge regarding local and international markets
- Excellent communications skills
- Great relationship management.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Impeccable time-management.
- Strategic thinking.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Understanding of risk management.
- Understanding of and ability to enhance sustainability.
- Understanding of the global market.

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- procurement specialist (Qatar Market): 4 years (required)
- Facilities management industry: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Arabic (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Qatar driving license (preferred)
