**About the role**

We are excited to announce a new opportunity to join our quickly growing Digital Commerce team as a Product Owner Specialist.

In this role, you will lead the mobile app digital pod to make sure regular release of mobile product enhancements and fixes are on schedule, in order to support mobile revenue growth. You will also make sure all pod members understand their role and contribution, and support them with the necessary tools for delivery.

**As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also**:

- Plan and lead Mobile App product pod sprints, focusing on quality and delivery
- Understand the Mobile App product roadmap and priorities, as well as objectives and expected impact of new features
- Define sprint scope based on Mobile App backlog, priorities and capacity
- Liaise pod activities around feature release at the end of each sprint, including sign-off and initial monitoring to make sure release performance is in line with expectations
- Ensure roles and contribution for each pod member is clear by establishing, communicating and maintaining team guidelines
- Organize sessions to establish Mobile App specific U.X, UI, back-end deliverables for sprints
- Identify risks, issues and technical challenges by encouraging the team to proactively report such, and remove blockers or pull in additional support to do so
- Ensure delivery is in line with Mobile App standards and expectations by conducting UX review/feedback and demo sessions

**Qualifications**

**About You**

**What we are looking for**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 4 years of job-related experience
- In-depth understanding of airline sales marketing and distribution mechanisms
- Coding, business analysis or UX/UI design expertise
- Good understanding of all aspects of mobile development, such as customer experience, UI/UX design, engineering, analytics
- Experience in leading design, development and implementations in 1 or more mobile technology software platforms: iOS (Apple), Blackberry (RIM), Android (Google), (Windows Phone)
- Previous experience in managing mobile app delivery, preferably in the travel industry
- Formal training and certification in airline reservation systems is an advantage
- Understanding and experience in agile product development is a big plus.
