Job Title**:Pastry Commis Chef / Pastry Assistant**

Monthly Salary**:QAR 2,200 with FREE transportation and shared accommodation**

**Job Summary**: The Pastry Commis plays a crucial role in the culinary team, assisting in the preparation, production, and presentation of delectable pastries and desserts. This position requires a strong passion for pastry arts, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Pastry Commis will work closely with the Pastry Chef and other team members to ensure the highest level of quality and consistency in all pastry creations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, cakes, bread, and other desserts, following established recipes and techniques.
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately, ensuring proper proportions and consistency.
- Assist in the decoration of pastries, including piping, glazing, and garnishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the Pastry Chef.
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new pastry techniques through continuous learning and development.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a pastry or bakery setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment.
- Manual dexterity and coordination for precise pastry decoration.

**Salary**: From QAR2,200.00 per month
