**We are looking to hire a qualified EV HSE Specialist to join our dynamic team.**
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and management systems for the EV bus operation, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identifying hazards and potential risks associated with EV bus operations, infrastructure, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including training programs and safety guidelines for employees, contractors, and passengers.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending improvements.
- Investigate incidents and accidents involving EV buses, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure the safe design, operation, and maintenance of EV buses, charging infrastructure, and associated facilities.
- Maintain knowledge of current and emerging HSE regulations, standards, and best practices related to EV bus operations, and provide guidance and training to staff and management.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders on matters related to EV bus HSE.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization through communication, training, and employee engagement activities
- Monitor and manage emergency preparedness and response plans, including coordinating drills and exercises to test and improve the effectiveness of response plans.
