**Position**: Teaching Assistant (Psychology Majors)

Are you passionate about psychology and dedicated to nurturing the next generation of mental health professionals? As a Teaching Assistant at the Global Studies Institute, you will play a pivotal role in assisting faculty and supporting students, guiding them toward success in their academic and career pursuits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist faculty with preparing and delivering high-quality psychology courses.
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum covering key psychology topics.
- Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one guidance and support to address individual student needs and challenges.
- Assist in administering practice tests and assessments to evaluate student progress.
- Help analyze assessment results to identify areas of improvement and develop tailored study plans.
- Maintain a well-organized and conducive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom activities, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Maintain open and effective communication with students.
- Provide regular progress reports to students and faculty as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in psychology education.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Significant experience in a teaching or tutoring role, preferably with psychology students.
- Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

- Proficiency in psychology topics and educational strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
- Analytical skills to assess student performance and adapt teaching methods.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to QAR100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
