**Veterinarian for an Automated Slaughterhouse**

**Location: Al-Shahanya**

We are looking for a qualified veterinarian to join our team at one of the modern automated slaughterhouses. If you specialize in veterinary medicine and have experience in meat inspection and ensuring meat quality and safety, we would like you to be part of our team. **(There are no expenses for the job applicant).**

**Responsibilities**:
1. Pre-Slaughter Inspection (Ante-Mortem):

- Inspect animals to ensure they are free of diseases and fit for slaughter.
- Monitor animal behavior and identify any abnormal signs.

2. Supervise Slaughter Operations:

- Ensure compliance with religious (Halal) and health standards.
- Oversee slaughtering processes to guarantee adherence to laws and regulations.

3. Post-Slaughter Inspection (Post-Mortem):

- Inspect meat and organs to ensure they are free from diseases.
- Remove unfit parts unsuitable for human consumption.

4. Hygiene and Public Health Oversight:

- Ensure cleanliness of equipment and slaughterhouse facilities.
- Monitor safe disposal of animal waste.

5. Reporting and Documentation:

- Record all observations and inspection processes.
- Prepare periodic reports on the condition of animals and meat.

6. Training and Guidance:

- Train workers on humane animal handling and hygiene practices.
- Guide the team in recognizing signs of disease or abnormalities.

7. Collaboration with Regulatory Authorities:

- Work with public health inspectors and relevant agencies.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy and related diseases.
- Ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with teams and regulatory authorities.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and documenting information.
- Familiarity with local and international laws related to meat safety and animal welfare.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine.
- At least 3 years of experience working in slaughterhouses or similar facilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and health regulations.
- Professional licensing from the relevant authority.
- NOC to transfer sponsorship.
