Ably Resource are working with a leading maritime and logistics company dedicated to providing efficient and reliable port services. With a strong commitment to excellence, our client is a key player in the global shipping industry. As part of their growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Port Administration Manager at Ras Laffan Port in Qatar.

Position Overview

Administrative Oversight

Manage and supervise the administrative team to ensure smooth and efficient port operations.

Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance

Stay updated on relevant maritime and port regulations to ensure compliance with local and international standards.

Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to all applicable laws.

Documentation and Record Keeping

Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records related to port activities.

Manage documentation processes for vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo handling.

Communication and Coordination

Foster effective communication and collaboration among various port departments.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve administrative issues.

Budget Management

Work closely with the finance department to develop and manage the administrative budget.

Monitor expenditures and implement cost-saving measures when possible.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marine Disciplines, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience in port administration or maritime operations.

Strong knowledge of port regulations and compliance requirements.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
