The Senior Merchandiser is responsible for the supervision of Company’s merchandise production process, including coordination of merchandise suppliers, product selection/quality control and supply logistics.

Role responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Head of Merchandising & Production and design team colleagues to agree new merchandise requirements and plan new product designs and categories.
- Coordinate product research process to support concepts for new products/product lines and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Visit international merchandise trade fairs to evaluate market developments and identify potential new suppliers.
- Coordinate with merchandise suppliers for all aspects of the production process including contract placement, product sampling and design revisions, quality control, main order finalisation, shipping and delivery etc.
- Work with Head of Merchandising & Production and design team colleagues to review product samples and coordinate required updates/design alterations.
- Work on special projects and/or other duties as directed by Head of Merchandising & Production or R&M Director.
- Act as a coach and leader by managing, motivating and developing your merchandising team, regularly assessing individuals’ performance and giving feedback where appropriate.
- Work with the Buying, Design and Technical teams to set department strategies and then plan balanced and commercial ranges.
- To work with the Buyer in the creation of the seasonal plan and strategy for sales, stock, margin and markdown within agreed parameters to ensure departmental profitability targets are achieved.
- Review forecasts to ensure sales, stock holding, margin and availability is optimised.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR12,300.00 - QAR13,800.00 per month
