**Department**
ENGINEERING SERVICES

**Primary purpose of job**
Provide assistance to Lead Document Controller through effective participation in control of engineering documents. Act as

custodian for archives and also perform data entry, scanning, quality check and uploading documents to the engineering

information system.

Provide technical assistance to Senior Staff through effective participation in handling engineering/technical/geospatial and

administrative data and documents. Act as custodian for technical/geospatial information and carry out archiving, data

storage, data entry, scanning, quality check and uploading data / documents to the Engineering Information System (EIS)

and/or Geographic Information System (GIS).

Provide technical verification of documents/data received for archiving according to QatarEnergy standards and assist in

retrieving information, documents and drawings from the archives and from EIS/Correspondence Management System

(CMS) / GIS.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Knowledge of software suits for example MS Office, AutoCAD, RDBMS, SQL and/or GIS.
- Skilled in Technical Report Writing.
- At least 5 years working experience in engineering department with computer systems including document management

system.
- Very good communication skills, very high self-motivation, excellent team work, and attention to details.

**Education**
Diploma, or equivalent in the relevant discipline. Good verbal and written command of English is required.

Certifications in areas of specializations are preferable.
