**Job Title**: MEP General Technician

**Location**: Doha, Qatar

**Department**: Maintenance/Facilities

**Reports To**: MEP Supervisor/Manager

**Job Overview**:
The MEP General Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. The role requires a broad knowledge of MEP systems to ensure their optimal functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation and Maintenance**:

- Install, test, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and equipment.
- Ensure systems are installed according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.

**Repair and Troubleshooting**:

- Diagnose and repair faults in MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical circuits, and plumbing.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.

**System Monitoring**:

- Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on MEP systems.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Prepare reports on system performance, issues, and corrective actions.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure all MEP systems operate in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and waste.

**Coordination and Communication**:

- Coordinate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure smooth operation of all systems.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding system status and maintenance needs.

**Emergency Response**:

- Respond to emergency situations related to MEP systems and perform necessary repairs.
- Participate in on-call rotation if required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems is preferred.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as an MEP technician or similar role. Experience in a commercial or industrial setting is a plus.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Certifications**:

- Relevant certifications in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical license) are preferred.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 per month
