**PHILOSOPHY - INSTRUCTOR/LECTURER**

Location: Aspire Zone | Doha, Qatar

Position Type: Part-Time

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver engaging lectures on philosophical concepts, history, and contemporary issues.
- Develop and update course syllabi and learning materials that reflect current research and trends in philosophy.
- Provide academic and career guidance to students pursuing careers in philosophy and related fields.
- Mentor students in developing critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and argumentation skills through essays and independent projects.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and performance.
- Coordinate with the academic administration to ensure alignment with program goals and standards.
- Advocate for diverse philosophical perspectives and promote inclusive discussions in the classroom.
- Teach students the importance of ethical considerations, cultural sensitivity, and logic in decision-making and societal contributions.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or Ph.D. in Philosophy or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the university level.
- Strong academic portfolio demonstrating expertise in philosophy and excellent communication skills.
- Must be fluent in English (Arabic will be an added advantage).

Legal Requirements:

- Must currently reside in Qatar and hold a valid Qatari ID.

How to Apply:

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR150.00 - QAR300.00 per month

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week
