The **Center for People with Disabilities** in Qatar is urgently seeking a **compassionate and experienced Speech and Language Therapist** to join our team.

As a **Speech and Language Therapist** at our center, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals experiencing speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals, to develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans. Your work will be crucial in promoting improved communication skills and enhancing the overall well-being of our clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication abilities in children and adults with disabilities.
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and individual patient needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care.
- Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress.
- Educate patients and their families on strategies and techniques to support speech and language development or recovery.
- Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and tools in the field of speech therapy.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Bachelor’s or Master’s degree** in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- **Proven experience** working as a Speech and Language Therapist, especially with individuals with disabilities.
- Strong **clinical assessment and diagnostic** skills.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills** to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work **independently** and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine **passion** for improving patient outcomes.
- **Fluency in both English and Arabic** (both spoken and written) is preferred.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
