**Schedule / Planning Specialist**

**Qatar**

Parsons is looking for a **Schedule / Panning Specialist **to join our growing team in Doha. In this role you will develop and manage project plans and schedules for various rail related projects.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Develop and manage all phases of project planning and scheduling, with a focus on rail projects.
- Create and update project master schedules and individual project schedules for rail projects.
- Analyze and report performance against established project schedules with critical milestones, particularly in the context of rail infrastructure.
- Interface with clients and stakeholders, attending progress meetings and providing regular project reporting updates for rail-related initiatives.
- Recommend and oversee customization of project schedules to meet specific requirements unique to rail projects.
- Generate statistical reports for management, emphasizing insights relevant to rail project performance.
- Support business development efforts with input for presentations, particularly tailored to showcase rail project expertise.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 15 years of related experience, with some experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Good knowledge of engineering, infrastructure, multi-disciplinary projects, with a particular emphasis on rail projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Tilos, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity.
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices, particularly within the rail sector.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Extensive experience and exposure to various types of rail projects and clients.
- Ability to effectively manage medium to large-sized rail projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with clients and stakeholders in the rail industry.
- Experience in developing statistical reports for management, specifically related to rail project metrics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, applied within the context of rail infrastructure challenges.
- Familiarity with project controls activities, tailored to the nuances of rail project management.
