**Position - Project Manager**

**Role Objective**

To provide operational support to the successful delivery of IT / digital related projects across the bank group and support the PMO function, ensuring compliance with the bank’s strategy, timeline, budget and consistency of processes across projects.

Detailed Roles
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the PMO department by providing expertise, ensuring teamwork and aligning project processes in order to achieve high performance standards related to project delivery and ensure project stakeholders meet established targets and objectives.
- Support project management guidelines for enhancing project processes as per agreed upon strategic objectives, timelines and budgetary requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance during RFP development, reviewing and analysing tender documentation to ensure that project requirements and scopes are clear and accurate prior to releasing to prospective vendors.
- Assist in shortlisting and vendor selection by providing technical review of proposals and vendor submissions to ensure compliance with RFP and project requirements, to highlight any areas of variance prior to the Bank awarding a contract to a vendor.
- Prepare effective alignment of project plans to ensure consistency with agreed standards, specifications and timeline provisions.
- Assist, when applicable in training project managers at various departments on the project management toolset.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and/or external service providers to ensure successful execution of the assigned project(s).
- Deliver and assist in implementing and executing projects on time and on budget with high standards and measuring risk and issues.
- Contribute in monitoring activities of assigned project team members, including any assigned third party consultants.
- Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
- Review project implementation and gather data on project execution
- Assist in maintaining the project budgeting requirements
- Prepare project’s summary progress reports with the project status updates and closing out reports as per PMO processes.

**Skills Required**:
Preferable - PMI PMP or Prince2 certified

Knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region.

Project management skills for enhanced project delivery.

Knowledge of Project Management (principles, policies, procedures and internal processes)

Knowledge of Portfolio and relationship management

Knowledge of industry practices

Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.

Ability to work under pressure.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
