**Responsibilities**:
**Cost Accounting for Customized Products**:

- Analyze and calculate the costs of producing customized furniture, ensuring accurate cost estimation for each item.
- Assess material, labor, and overhead costs for different products, such as beds, sofas, and other custom furniture items.
- Review production cost data regularly to ensure that the calculated costs reflect actual expenses.

**Inventory Control and Cost Management**:

- Maintain and update the inventory system based on sales data, ensuring that stock levels are accurate and reflect current usage.
- Track and control the cost of inventory, ensuring that any changes due to sales, stock adjustments, or production are reflected in the financial records.
- Monitor and report on inventory valuation, ensuring that cost variations are analyzed and accounted for.

**Supplier Cost Comparison**:

- Review and compare supplier cost prices to ensure fair and logical pricing.
- Investigate and identify reasons for cost discrepancies, particularly in cases where similar items have inconsistent pricing (e.g., a smaller item costing more than a larger one).
- Collaborate with suppliers to clarify price differences and recommend appropriate actions to resolve discrepancies.

**Cost Auditing and Reporting**:

- Prepare detailed cost reports for management, providing insights on product costs, inventory values, and any cost anomalies.
- Conduct regular audits of cost data and inventory records to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Identify and report on opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiency in production and procurement.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a **Cost Accountant**, preferably within the furniture or luxury goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of **cost accounting principles** and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in **ERP/SAP systems** and advanced **Excel** skills for managing and analyzing data.
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve cost-related issues.
- Experience in customizing product cost calculations is highly desirable.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Keen observation skills to detect inconsistencies in cost data.
- Proactive and resourceful in identifying and addressing cost-related issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and finance.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
