**Responsibilities**:
**Cost Management and Analysis**:

- Monitor and evaluate all costs associated with product development, ensuring alignment with company budgets and financial goals.
- Analyze supplier quotes and compare them with historical data to ensure fairness and accuracy in pricing.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cost variations between suppliers and internally.
- Ensure all cost data is accurate, up-to-date, and properly allocated to each product.

**Supplier Cost Control**:

- Negotiate and challenge suppliers on pricing to ensure the company receives the best value without compromising on quality.
- Maintain strong communication with suppliers to understand their pricing structures and any changes that might impact cost.
- Review cost-related documents such as invoices and purchase orders to verify accuracy and reasonableness of pricing.

**Cost Reporting and Auditing**:

- Prepare detailed cost reports, including cost-benefit analyses, to support decision-making in the PDD department.
- Conduct regular audits of product costing to ensure financial accuracy and identify any potential areas for cost-saving.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all costs are accounted for in the company’s financial statements.

**Price Discrepancy Investigation**:

- Actively review and investigate any price differences between suppliers, identifying the root cause and ensuring transparency.
- Recommend actions to rectify pricing anomalies, ensuring fair and consistent pricing across all products.

**Collaboration with PDD Team**:

- Work closely with the product development team to ensure that cost considerations are taken into account during the design and production process.
- Provide cost insights during new product introductions, ensuring alignment with company profitability goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, preferably in the luxury furniture or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to challenge and question supplier pricing effectively.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP/SAP systems, and advanced spreadsheet management.
- Sharp analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Active, intelligent, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
