**Your day-to-day**:

- Handle Incoming Calls, handle In-house calls.
- Taking written messages for hotel guests; transferring guests to voice mail to leave a message as well as retrieving guests’ voice messages.
- Be able to lodge guests’ requests for Wake up calls, set the console and give the wake-up call, deal with unanswered wake-up calls
- Be able to handle guest requests in terms of DND, privately registered guests, and Function room telephones.
- Be well versed in General hotel information, and knowledgeable about Speed Dial extension.
- Be able to handle security issues such as Fire alarm procedures, calling the house doctor, Bomb threats, and Guest/ Staff confidentiality.
- Assist with guest complaints
- Receive each guest call in a professional and friendly manner
- Govern overnight tasks such as daily reports for all departments and line checks, pulse control reports; and communicating guest requests to the overnight runner.

**What we need from you**:

- Minimum 1 - 2 years in a similar role.
- Effectively communicate with employees and guests
- Ability to work multiple shifts including night shift.
- Multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Show initiative in anticipating guest or operational needs
- Be proactive and use good judgment when dealing with challenging situations
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
