**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously.
- Records and controls accurate wake-up calls.
- Pages guests in cooperation with concerned departments.
- Assists guests with international calls and direct queries.
- Calls guests by name whenever possible.
- Pages staff member when requested.
- Abides by principles of guest privacy.
- Handles guest’s needs or requests and reports complaints to the Telephone Supervisors.
- Report on logbook daily.
- Bill calls coasts.
- Aware of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers.
- Strictly abides by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency such as fire, bomb scare and other critical situations.
- Advises defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor.
- Maintains current hotel information.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Comply with Hotel Rules and Regulations and provisions contained in the Employment Handbook.
- Comply with company grooming standards.
- Comply with time and attendance polices.
- Actively participate in training and development program and maximize opportunities for self development.
- Being attentive to guest.
- Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests.
- Anticipate guest’s needs.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest Experience.
- Demonstrating a “service “attitude.
- Taking appropriate action to resolve guests complains.
- Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers.
- Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene and fire life safety.
- Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the Line Manager.
- Maintains detailed knowledge on the hotel’s fire, life and safety system.
- Maintains detailed knowledge on the Emergency Response team and working of the telephone room in his regard.
- Accept any other duties which are given by the management.
