ENGINEERING SERVICES

**Primary purpose of job**
Responsible for planning, organizing and managing all activities required for systematic development of Corporate

Geospatial Information Systems that meets requirements of engineering, exploration, geosciences, production,

maintenance, environmental management, safety and security, and other business across the corporation and of specialist

design and architecture and ensuring accuracy, currency, security and quality of information content.

Responsible for development and management of customized business solutions and provision of geospatial services

across the corporation.

Responsible for providing surveying services, technical support, onsite services and supervision for onshore and

hydrographic surveying activities required for projects.

Effectively manage assigned projects and ensure that objectives are achieved in accordance with quality and HSE

standards within the prescribed schedule and budget.

Subject Matter Expert for geomatics discipline.

**Experience & Skills**
1. Minimum 15 years experience in the field of geomatics in oil and gas industry.

2. At least 5 years experience in GIS on ESRI GIS platform.

3. Proven Project Management skills, Project Management certification is desirable.

4. Solid Experience in BPM, XML, SQL PLUS and comfort with UML Modeling.

ArcObjects, VB.net, python, C#, html, XML, SQL, Java and Flex Script (required for Senior GIS Engineer responsible for

6. Excellent written & verbal communication skills within a technical environment.

7. Very high Self-motivation, excellent team work, strong organizational skills, excellent analytical skills, critical thinking,

strong problem solving skills and attention to details.

8. Capability of working reliably and independently with limited or no supervision in a team environment with strong

interpersonal skills.

9. Demonstrated time management skills including organizing workload and priority setting and ability to work within

established timelines and to work in multiple projects.

**Education**

in geomatics / GIS is highly desirable.

2. Bachelor Degree in Surveying /Geodetic or Geomatics Engineering can be considered for Senior GIS Engineer

responsible for Surveying activities only.
