**Asset Management Expert**

**Assets Management**
- **Operational Excellence**: Ensure optimal performance across risk, EH&S, operations, commercial, and financial domains for all Qatar-based assets.
- **Governance & Compliance**: Oversee compliance with local laws, regulations, contracts, and QEWC’s internal policies.
- **Asset Lifecycle Management**: Manage full asset lifecycle — development, operation, life extension, and decommissioning — with a focus on sustainability and value creation.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Track KPIs, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective measures for underperforming assets.
- **Innovation & Efficiency**: Support the adoption of cutting-edge processes and technologies to enhance asset performance.
- **Strategic Alignment**: Align asset business plans with QEWC’s corporate strategy and ensure cross-functional integration.
- **Analytical Capabilities**: Deliver in-depth performance analysis using complex variables (e.g., reliability, degradation), and provide actionable insights and reporting.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders, regulators, and industry leaders to ensure operational continuity and explore new opportunities.
- **Financial Oversight**: Support budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and monitoring of performance vs. budget for each asset.
- **Policy & Process Development**: Contribute to the creation and continuous improvement of policies and procedures in line with best practices.
- **Reporting Excellence**: Ensure accurate, timely reporting that meets internal and regulatory requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
**Minimum Experience**:

- 12 years of experience in similar roles in large and preferably multi-national companies, of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.

**Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical)**:

- Demonstrated technical aptitude and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.
- Solid people management skills.
- Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors, emerging trends, technologies and key players.
- Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
- Excellent relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work with key stakeholders, senior executives, management team and external partners/advisors through collaboration & teamwork.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment.
