The Role
Asset Management Expert - Qatar CLIENT Linum Consult’s client is a major company operating out of the Middle East. They are currently seeking an Asset Management Expert with a background in reliability engineering to join their team in Qatar. RESPONSIBILITIES - Managing the delivery of RAM strategies and programmes to ensure systems meet or exceed performance requirements through effective stakeholder management - Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance system RAM performance - Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to RAM and identifying risks and/or opportunities in line with the company’s policies and procedures - Understanding equipment failure investigations (Root Cause Analysis) and managing the subsequent corrective actions - Generating and continually improving maintenance strategies and tactics - Working in conjunction with other Asset Management experts to ensure consistency of asset and technical processes
**Requirements**:
PROFILE - Degree qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or similar relevant discipline. Ideally have an additional advanced degree in RAMS or data analytics - Certified in Reliability Engineering (e.g. Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)) or risk management would be highly preferred - Minimum of 8 years’ experience in reliability engineering, with a track record of improving system reliability and performance, within the railway industry - Extensive knowledge and expertise in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) - Strong technical knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including FMEA, fault tree analysis, RCM and reliability modelling - Proficient with reliability testing tools and software - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Previous experience in the Middle East would be preferred
