Job Title: Production Controller (Events & Interiors)

**Job Description**:
The Production Controller is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of production-related activities for both events and interior projects. This role ensures that resources are efficiently allocated, timelines are met, and quality standards are upheld throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination
- Collaborate with event planners, designers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create and manage production timelines for both event setups and interior installations.
- Allocate tasks and resources to the production team, vendors, and subcontractors.

Production Oversight
- Supervise production activities on-site to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Monitor the progress of projects to ensure deadlines are met and resolve any issues or delays.
- Coordinate logistics including transport, setup, dismantling, and site clearance.

Vendor & Material Management
- Source and manage vendors for fabrication, AV, lighting, furniture, and decor.
- Oversee procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials for events and interior work.
- Ensure cost-efficiency and quality in all outsourced production elements.

Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare production budgets and track expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Optimize resource usage and reduce wastage to control project costs.
- Approve invoices and maintain records for all production-related expenditures.

Team Management
- Lead and supervise on-ground production teams, freelancers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure team adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct training or briefings when necessary.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain detailed project reports, including timelines, costs, and performance metrics.

Provide post-project analysis to identify areas for improvement.

**Experience**:
3+ years of experience in production control or project management in the events and/or interior design industry.

Proven experience handling end-to-end production for events (corporate, weddings, exhibitions) and interior projects (commercial or residential).

**Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings, floor plans, and technical specs.
- Good knowledge of materials, construction methods, and safety protocols.
- Budgeting and cost estimation skills.
- Leadership and problem-solving capabilities.

Work Environment

Willingness to work on-site during setups, often outside regular hours (early mornings, late nights, weekends).

Ability to travel to project/event sites as needed.

Fast-paced, deadline-driven, and dynamic work environment.
