Be responsible for developing and managing medium to high value/risk contracts including developing business cases, specifications for tenders, procurement plans, evaluation reports and contract management plans.
- Develop documents, manage and maintain contracts, including the negotiation and re-negotiation of contracts and resolution of complex contractual and service delivery issues and disputes.
- Establish and maintain contract management plans, procedures and maintain complete and accurate contract records.
- Monitor, evaluate and report on the contract management process and the performance of service providers in meeting specified contractual outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to improve the provision of services and the management of contracts with service providers.
- Monitor and ensure the compliance of contract management processes with contractual requirements, applicable Acts, Regulations and standards.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a best practice contract management framework, which ensure the accountability and integrity of the contract management process.
- Consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in developing and managing contracts.
- Provide advice, undertake and participate in discussions with contractor personnel in collaboration with key contract stakeholders and end users to resolve problems associated with the execution of contracts.
