**Job Title**: Governess (Private Tutor)
**Location**: Doha, State of Qatar
**Contract Type**: Full-time

**Job Objective**:
To provide specialized and personalized education to a child or group of children from a high-profile family, in line with the highest educational and cultural standards. The role focuses on developing the child’s academic, linguistic, and behavioral skills within a safe and stimulating environment that reflects the family's status and values.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement individualized educational plans tailored to the child’s abilities and needs.
- Develop the child’s language skills, especially in English, as directed.
- Instill moral values and refined behavior in accordance with the family’s traditions and culture.
- Supervise the child’s daily academic and social routines.
- Work closely with family members, other governesses, and caregivers to ensure a well-rounded and balanced environment.
- Organize educational and recreational activities (e.g., cultural visits, libraries, museums, outdoor events).
- Prepare periodic reports on the child’s academic and behavioral progress.
- Accompany the child during travel when required, overseeing educational activities while in transit.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Fluent English Speaker
- A university degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Governess in high-profile households or within a private education setting.
- Full fluency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional language (French or Arabic) is preferred.
- Familiarity with international curricula (British, American, or IB) is an added advantage.
- Professional demeanor, discretion, and high ethical standards.
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to manage a dynamic schedule.
- Ability to work as part of a multicultural team and show full respect for the family’s values and culture.
