Roles and Responsibilities

Keep the day-to-day operations of the house running smoothly. Planned, coordinate, and helps for today’s busy families. Responsible for overseeing the general operations of the house.

**Standards Setting & Household Procedures** - Household Managers in a more formal residence typically set service standards and housekeeping procedures for the home.

**Staffing **- Household staff may include, if any: Housekeepers, Laundress, Houseman, Chauffeur, Private Chef, Gardener, Nanny etc., although a very large staff would indicate estate management and estate management skills, rather than household management. Regardless of staff size, staffing and personnel management responsibilities for one or a multi-staff include: hiring, firing, orientation, training, mentoring, coaching, development, compensation, reviews and supervision, and accurate record keeping, on-going management of staff to meet service needs of household and administrative functions

**Vendor & Contract Negotiation and Management** - May negotiate and manage all contracts, supervise work and review invoices for all outside serve providers including screening and overseeing outside vendors, contractors.

**Property & Systems Management** - scheduling for all maintenance, staffing, accounting and services needed for l property; system and procedure protocol development for all properties.

**Budget Preparation** -May prepare budget and Timesheet approval.

**Security & Safety** - Overseeing security for the household and family could also be included.

**Other Duties** - Greeting and serving guests, errands (shopping, gift purchases, dry cleaning), managing the household calendar.
- Managing the household’s schedules and calendars
- Event planning, organizing, and coordination
- Arranging appointments for personal and professional needs
- Scheduling home maintenance and repair work, and supervising the project
- Handling household bills and administrative duties
- Running errands and performing necessary tasks
- Supervision of other household staff, such as housekeepers, private chefs, nannies or governesses,waiters/waitresses,Butlers,maintenance.
- Ensure that all staff has the necessary training.
- Document all house problems or incidents. Report safety issues timely
- Serve as a point-of-contact for emergencies and urgent questions
- Investigate and attempt to resolve problems that arise in the house (e.g., employee or service recipient conflicts).

**Salary**: QAR13,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
