The BMS Service Engineer is responsible for the service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of building systems such as HVAC, lighting, and power. This role requires expertise in BMS technologies, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine service and maintenance of BMS systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
- Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration of BMS equipment.
- Update software and firmware to maintain system reliability and security.
- Diagnose and resolve faults and issues in BMS systems promptly and effectively.
- Provide on-site technical support for emergency breakdowns and repairs.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify and rectify system malfunctions.
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Implement changes to control strategies and settings to enhance system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
- Ensure all system changes are documented and in compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients and facility management teams regarding BMS operations.
- Train end-users and on-site personnel on the effective use and maintenance of the BMS.
- Develop and update user manuals and training materials.
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, maintenance activities, and system performance.
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation for clients and internal use.
- Report any significant issues or recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Ensure all service activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in servicing and maintaining BMS or related systems.
- Proficiency in BMS software such as Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell, or similar.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests efficiently.
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

**Experience**:

- BMS SERVICE: 6 years (preferred)
