Job description

**Role Description**:Capturing the imagination of shoppers, both inside and outside a store, is the job of the visual merchandiser. Visual merchandiser is responsible to turn their shop’s window space into an intriguing art installation, or strategically arranging a shelf to maximize the chances of content/concept selling. Effective visual merchandising can stimulate public awareness, draw shoppers into a store and provide a huge boost to sales figures. A Visual Merchandiser also collaborates with the Showroom Manager to provide product and styles related training to the Retail Associates.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Proactive involvement in the process of understanding and ensuring that the latest trends are implemented in showrooms as per brand standards.

Ø Create Planograms, written and verbal guidelines and instructions to support all new, current and seasonal activities / products for showrooms to implement.

Ø Partner with cross-functional business to direct and drive superior visual execution in stores.

Ø Provide a facilitators role in resolving merchandising matters.

Ø Liquidating Slow moving items through effective concept merchandising inventory analysis.

Ø Devise, implement and execute creative visual merchandising strategies that support the business goals of Marina Home.

Ø Customer service: Ensure excellent customer service at all times through proper execution of company’s policies related to customer service.

Ø Analyze, evaluate and create action plans for all aged or slow-moving inventory across the brand.

Ø Effective utilization of showroom design to ensure the correct products are displayed in the correct locations.

Ø Providing Interior Design Services through in Store and Home Consultation (If required).

Ø Provide necessary direction and feedback to the associates on concept visual merchandising initiatives.
