**Overview**: As a Restaurant Food Runner and Dining Area Steward, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the dining area while supporting the smooth flow of food service. Your primary responsibilities involve delivering dishes promptly to guests and ensuring the restaurant's cleanliness, making it an enjoyable and inviting environment for our valued customers. With your attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness, you will contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and success of the restaurant.

**Responsibilities**:
Food Serving and Presentation:

- Collect food orders from the kitchen and verify their accuracy before delivering them to the respective tables.
- Ensure that dishes are presented in an appealing manner, adhering to the restaurant's presentation standards.
- Work closely with the waitstaff and kitchen team to coordinate efficient food serving.

Table Preparation and Assistance:

- Assist in setting up and preparing tables for guest seating, ensuring they are clean and properly equipped.
- Refill water glasses, provide additional utensils, or address other guest needs as requested.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

- Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining area surfaces between guest seatings.
- Regularly clean and restock condiments, napkin holders, and other table accessories.
- Sweep and mop the dining area floor (as needed) to maintain cleanliness and safety.

Health and Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, ensuring safe food handling and proper sanitation practices.
- Report any potential issues or hazards to the management team.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a food runner, busser, or cleaner in a restaurant is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient food delivery and thorough cleaning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Customer-focused with a genuine desire to contribute to a positive dining experience.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry trays and other restaurant equipment as required.
- Flexibility to work during peak business hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
