Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment breakdowns. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components to extend the lifespan of the equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnosing equipment malfunctions and identifying the root causes of problems. This may involve the use of diagnostic tools and equipment manuals.

Repairs: Repairing or replacing faulty components, parts, or systems to restore equipment to working condition. This can involve tasks like fixing electrical, plumbing, or mechanical issues.

Calibration: Calibrating kitchen equipment to ensure they operate at the correct temperature, pressure, or other settings for cooking or food preparation.

Safety Compliance: Ensuring that all kitchen equipment meets safety and health regulations, and making necessary adjustments or modifications to maintain compliance.

Documentation: Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repair work, including service reports, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Upkeep of Spare Parts: Managing an inventory of spare parts and ordering replacements as needed to minimize equipment downtime.

Training: Providing training to kitchen staff on the proper use and care of equipment to prevent misuse and prolong equipment life.

Emergency Response: Responding to urgent equipment breakdowns and conducting emergency repairs to minimize disruptions to kitchen operations.

Upgrading: Recommending and assisting with equipment upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency, safety, or compliance with industry standards.

Technical Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technology, and equipment to provide effective maintenance and repairs.

Safety Measures: Adhering to safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials, electrical safety, and personal protective equipment.

Customer Service: Interacting with kitchen staff, management, and other stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and ensure their needs are met.

Time Management: Managing work schedules and prioritizing tasks to ensure mínimal disruption to kitchen operations.
