**About the role**

We are recruiting for Recruitment Specialist, to be based in Doha, Qatar.

The Recruitment Specialist will sit in the Flight Deck Recruitment Team and will be accountable for ensuring that Qatar Airways Flight Deck has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute their business plans. In this role, you will provide expert advice, data and recommendations to Hiring Managers to support key recruitment decisions (availability of talent in a given market/region, job description definition, long term sourcing strategies, interview & selection, and offer construction).

**Specific responsibilities for the role include**:

- Responsible for the delivery of an assigned number of open positions by managing interfaces with the rest of the Flight Deck Pilot Recruitment and Selection team to ensure recruitment outcomes and quality of hire, time to hire and cost of hire standards are met.
- Maintain close relationship with the hiring managers, coach them through the recruitment process, and provide assistance when needed to ensure process is maintained.
- Advises the Flight Deck Recruitment Manager in development and implementation of recruitment strategies to undertake selection campaigns.
- Accountable to keep up-to-date with the Flight Deck Employment Officer and make recommendations to Flight Deck Recruitment Manager, to represent the company’s best interest.
- Accountable for the Implementation of generic templates for campaign data collection.
- Assists management in coordinating and supporting the team's efforts to complete urgent tasks as directed.
- Champion compliance with Qatar Airways Group policies and procedures throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. ATS) to consistent standards across the team.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of Department.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- High School Qualification/ Vocational Qualification/ Diploma or equivalent with minimum of 5 years job-related experience.

**OR**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum of 4 years job-related experience.
- At least two years’ experience in Flight Deck Recruitment or HR Recruitment environment.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment or global organization.
- Previous recruitment agency or experience recruiting large volumes of people through a variety of methods.
- Must demonstrate a clear track record of proactively sourcing a significant number of hires using market research techniques.
- Proven resourcing experience within a fast paced, complex environment.
- Politically savvy, flexible and with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities and objectives.
- Able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of current organization’s core business, organization, strategic direction, challenges and aspirations.
- Lead, model, manage and coach the organization in best practice selection techniques.
- Able to model desired behaviours in a corporate environment.
- Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion.
- Highly developed planning and organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Oracle and ATS.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt, multi-task, problem solve and maintain flexibility.
- Strong verbal and written English.
