**Position Summary**:
The AV Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining audio-visual equipment in the hospital to ensure seamless communications and presentations for clinical staff, administrative personnel, patients, and visitors. The AV Technician supports virtual consultations, tele-medicine setups, training sessions, and live events, ensuring high-quality audio and visual experiences.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Setup and Operation**:

- Set up and configure audio-visual equipment for hospital presentations, meetings, webinars, training, and special events.
- Operate AV equipment, including projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and digital displays.
- Coordinate and support tele-medicine and video conferencing sessions for remote consultations, including setup, connection, and troubleshooting.

**Maintenance and Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of AV equipment to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions during events.
- Collaborate with the IT department to solve any network-related issues impacting AV functionality.

**Technical Support**:

- Provide technical assistance to hospital staff, speakers, and presenters on AV equipment and software usage.
- Train end-users on AV systems, including virtual meeting platforms, presentation controls, and video conferencing tools.

**Documentation and Inventory**:

- Maintain records of AV equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and technical issues.
- Track AV equipment inventory, ordering replacements and upgrades as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: ITI or Diploma certification in AV technology is required.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in an AV technician role, preferably in a healthcare, corporate, or educational setting.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in operating AV equipment, teleconferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx), digital projectors, sound systems, and video display units.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift AV equipment, stand, and work in different hospital areas.

Pay: QAR1,400.00 - QAR1,800.00 per month
