Job Accountabilities
1.Provide Company representation in monitoring and coordinating the site activities of EPC Contractor, vendor and its sub-contractors for all electrical installations. Report on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions.

2.Monitor and assist the EPC Contractor, vendor, and sub-contractors in the implementation of site specific SHE program, emergency response and evacuation drill programs. Participate in incident /accident investigation and prevention of recurrence. Promotes safety awareness and safe performance among project team members, including consultants and contractor personnel.

3.Coordinate EPC Contractor, vendor's work activities, and interface coordination with the activities of Third Parties. Review of method statements, JSAs and other documents to ensure safe and proper construction and PMC by EPC Contractor. Ensure construction work carried out in accordance with Client rules, regulations, standards as applicable.

4.Coordinate and monitor sequence of Completion of plant Area associated Electrical Substations, Control rooms, Power Distribution systems, including issuance of Site Acceptance to various system and subsystems within the project, including monitoring and identifying correct zone classifications and Explosion proof compliance requirements.

5.Monitoring Site acceptance tests, including commissioning activities of Substation Control System and Equipment's such as Switch gears, Transformers, SMDBs etc and all substation utilities and protection systems.

6.Coordination from Company side of all tie-in activities with existing or temporary facilities to ensure proper job planning and execution with mínimal interference with ongoing operations.

7.Reports progress, performance, initiatives, issues, and challenges to Area Construction Division or Site manager. Provides input to and review development of contractor's detailed plans to complete the work.

8.Familiar with RLIC eCPW permit systems, and client company ePTW systems as applicable.

9.Monitor and support the Project Issues database and assist in stewarding action plans to closure. Ensure cross-functional follow-up on action items developed during interface and tie-in meetings.

- Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Knowledge and/or Experience
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Good supervisory skills.
- Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning of Electrical Substation and Instrument/Electrical Integrated Control System Technical room activities.
- Minimum of (15) years broad experience in all phases of construction planning, field execution and mechanical completion activities for electrical installations.
- Worldwide experience working with contractors and subcontractors, in particular those involved in the construction of Onshore oil, gas, chemical and/or petrochemical plant facilities.
- Middle East (preferably Qatar) 10 years working experience is preferred.
- Technical and Business Skills:

- Undertakes complex tasks and acts as a source of guidance for staff and internal customers. Is expected to handle all but the most complex problems and difficulties that might arise. Takes initiatives, based on experience, to deliver timely and cost effective completion.
- Planning and effective execution of Greenfield Electrical Construction works.
- Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.
- Works independently within established procedures, plans and budgets and contributes to the development of these.
- Has autonomy over scheduling and planning of own work; organizes efforts of work group to achieve overall efficiency.
