- Utilize appropriate test equipment and enforce safety rules, environmental policies, and operational principles for on-site Fire Alarm/ Fire Fighting systems.
- Conduct thorough and efficient inspection, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, programming, and upkeep of Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting systems across the base.
- Perform functional operation tests on installed fire detection and alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA Standards and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Adhere to preventive maintenance plans and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional atmosphere in all working facilities and areas.
- Participate in a comprehensive and well-documented training program.
- Safeguard all government and contractor-provided property, including facilities, equipment, and tools.
- Ensure precise execution of company time reporting procedures and complete timesheets accurately.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned according to contractual, functional, and mission requirements.
- For Fire Alarm, maintain fire detection and alarm systems, interpret instrument readings, and use wiring diagrams and schematics as needed.
- For Fire Fighting, Install, maintain, and repair Fire Suppression Systems - Conduct routine inspections and tests of Fire Fighting Equipment to ensure proper functionality and compliance with local codes. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Fire Fighting Systems and implement necessary repairs or replacements.

**Qualifications**

**Education/Certifications**: Two-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

**Minimum**:

- High school diploma or equivalent,
- Basic English Proficiency (Read, Write, Speak)

**Preferred**:

- Diploma in Fire Alarm/ Fire Fighting or equivalent.
