**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cleaning & Facility Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the cleaning and facility maintenance teams. The role ensures all areas, including production, office, and public spaces, meet hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards. The supervisor will also manage resources, scheduling, and performance to support efficient and compliant facility upkeep.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Supervision & Team Management
- Lead and manage cleaning staff and facility maintenance personnel.
- Allocate work schedules and daily assignments based on operational needs.
- Monitor staff performance, conduct evaluations, and provide training where needed.

Operational Oversight
- Inspect cleanliness and sanitation levels across all areas (offices, restrooms, production floors, common areas).
- Ensure all cleaning protocols and safety regulations are followed consistently.
- Maintain facility equipment and ensure timely repairs or replacements.

Inventory & Supplies
- Manage stock of cleaning agents, tools, and facility maintenance items.
- Ensure timely procurement and minimize wastage.

Compliance & Safety
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (e.g., HACCP, OSHA, local municipal standards).
- Assist in internal and external audits; maintain logs and reports.
- Lead emergency response readiness (e.g., fire drills, first-aid protocols).

Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on cleaning operations, incidents, and maintenance tasks.
- Act as a point of contact between facility staff and other departments.

**Education & Experience**:

- Minimum High School Diploma; Diploma or degree in Facility Management or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in facility/cleaning supervision, preferably in a high-compliance environment (e.g., food production, healthcare, hospitality).
- Proven experience in managing teams and handling inventory.
- Good knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Eye for detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, facility management software).
- Multilingual ability (English, Sinhala, Hindi)

**Working Conditions**:

- May involve night or weekend shifts depending on operational demands.
- Physical stamina for on-foot supervision and occasional lifting.
