The Head Chef manages the kitchen operation. This includes menu planning and development, food cost control, personnel, logistics, maintaining smooth-running and effective kitchen activities - and ensuring the highest standard of food production, taste, and quality.

Responsibility of Role:

- Manage and control the entire kitchen operation, ensuring that kitchen activities are carried out efficiently and professionally,
- Oversee the preparation of food according to the restaurant’s menu guidelines and high quality standards, ensuring that kitchen staff maintain the required high level of performance.
- Coordinating with the Executive Chef, plan new menus and menu changes, developing creative dishes that meet the high standards of taste and quality required by the restaurant.
- Ensure that menu food costs meet or exceed agreed targets, conducting analysis of expenditures, preparing reports on cost control and liaising closely with the company’s Accounting function.
- Maintain good control of food quality and quantity through effective food rotation in order to minimize waste.
- Arrange for the ordering, receiving, and storage of food, monitoring stock levels in kitchen storage areas so that levels meet all upcoming menu requirements.
- Train kitchen staff to fully understand and practice all HACCP requirements. Work with the Hygiene & Compliance Officer to constantly improve HACCP standards and immediately fix any identified shortfalls.
- Monitor performance of individual members of the kitchen team, providing regular feedback and taking prompt action to correct issues when necessary.

Pay: QAR13,500.00 per month
