Maintenance Engineer

**Overview of the role**

Responsible for Managing and executing the Operation, Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activity of the Assets in the facilities management and casual job project, and attending site Visits, BOQ preparation, Estimation, proposal submission, follow-up, execution, monitoring, and handover of new inquiries.

**What you will do**
- Managing the FM contracts with 100% client satisfaction and reporting to LM/OM on the updates of projects. Responsible for the P&L target achievement, financial reporting as well as collection.
- Developing and implementing maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, plumbing, and other building components.
- Assign and schedule work tasks with facility technicians, distribute work assignments, and monitor the work progress.
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
- Managing and coordinating contractors and vendors for repair, maintenance, and casual job projects.
- Managing and Supervising the Soft and Hard services staff to perform and deliver their services by the contract SLAs and to meet the PPM and CM targets as per the agreed Maintenance schedule.
- Developing and implementing energy conservation and sustainability initiatives to optimize facility performance and reduce environmental impact
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Planning and budgeting for facility maintenance, and repairs, controlling Costs and expenses accordingly.
- Managing the procurement and inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for facility operations.
- Collaborating with other departments, such as safety, and security, to address facility-related issues and support organizational goals.
- Keeping accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
- Attending site Visits, BOQ preparation, Estimation, proposal submission, and follow-up of new inquiries.
- Execution of everyday job work.
- Attending weekly pipeline and business review meetings.

**About the Team**

The FM team is a highly motivated, collaborative, and fun, technology professional across Qatar, looking to add a Manager to the department, to whom all of them will report.

**What equips you for the role**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (UPDA certified preferred).
- 10 - 15 years of experience in the Qatar Market (required).
- Good knowledge of HVAC basic design, installation, Maintenance, and Repairs.
- Qatar's Driving license is highly desirable.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Applications.
- Good English Communication skills
