If you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Principal Process Engineer, reporting directly to Discipline HOD to join our Engineering team based in Doha, Qatar.

**About the Job**

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to:

- carry out surge studies using Pipenet Transient.
- Develop and document Process Design Basis.
- Carry out process studies independently.
- Evaluate and optimize process schemes.
- Experience with process simulation software (i.e., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Pro II,Flarenet, Pipenet transient, OLGA etc.)
- Provide assistance to the HOD, as requested, in the areas of schedules, estimates, progress reports, meetings, procurement, activities etc.
- Assist, as required, in the development of department standards and procedures. Contributes to the development of a process knowledge database, capturing events and experiences and writing technical notes.
- Assist with Quality Audits
- Field experience including troubleshooting, start-up, commissioning, etc. would be a plus
- A deep and thorough understanding of codes, regulatory requirements and industry practices. Experience with determining best practices and procedures while contributing to the development of new concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills allowing for effective communication in multidisciplinary project teams involving representative from the client, other departments within Technip Energies Doha, and other consultants and contractors.
- Results oriented, with good organization skills, attention for detail, and the capability of efficiently working simultaneously on multiple projects.
- Develops process execution and quality plan for projects.
- Optimizes engineering analysis and solutions produced by Process engineering teams.
- Ensures that the operating, quality control procedures, standards and project specifications are followed.
- Ensures good quality, schedule and cost of Process engineering activities within projects and/or operations.
- Develops Process Engineers by providing appraisal of activities, training and coaching.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
- Minimum 15 years of chemical process engineering experience in similar EPC environment for Onshore / Offshore projects and having experience in Concept & sizable FEED and EPIC projects.
- Significant experience of team supervision and/or coordination.
