**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the management and operation of a heavy fleet, ensuring vehicles are well-maintained, efficient, and compliant with regulations.
- Coordinate the dispatch and timely delivery of heavy items and finished goods to various locations.
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., procurement, production, sales) to ensure proper inventory management and timely deliveries.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize costs, reduce delivery times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Monitor fleet performance, analyze routes, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, suppliers, contractors) to maintain strong relationships and ensure operational success.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and fleet performance.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Proven experience in heavy fleet management, with a strong understanding of logistics processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience in dispatching heavy items and finished goods, including managing logistics for large-scale deliveries.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance, vehicle tracking, and logistics software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Valid driver’s license and any necessary certifications related to fleet management or logistics.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with logistics management systems and fleet management software.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the transport industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess logistics performance and implement improvements.
