An estimator's typical responsibilities include analysing plans, bills of

quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.

researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices and

quotes from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints,

specifications, and related documents.
- Maintains contact and relationships with private individuals and other

organizations.
- Identifies labour, material, and time requirements.
- Computes costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements.
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information.
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical

and descriptive information.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing

information and trends.
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Continually updates technical knowledge by attending educational

workshops and reviewing technical publications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Requirements**:
Must have a minimum 3 years of experience in Packaging and Printing Industry

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Estimator in Printing and Packaging Industry: 3 years (preferred)
