Asset Im Specialist

**Job Purpose**

Taking Lead in the project database of SmartPlant Instrumentation and responsible for merging and claiming of data within agreed Service Level Agreement (Site specific) including the quality measures. Support a ‘First Time Right’ culture and behaviours without the need to do additional quality checks. Analyze technical data and documents and processes by working with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations and Project teams & partners across the Organization to build an eco-system of Continuous Improvement across Shell.

Key deliverables:

- Be Single point of contact for all matter related to set-up, maintenance, system upgrade of Smart Plant Instrumentation and Electrical (SPI).
- Manage configurations within SPI and keep it updated in line with new developments of the Shell Standards.
- Assures design / technical integrity of Production installations throughout their life cycle, including coordination and responsibility for the delivery with Technical Authority roles in the relevant Engineering disciplines
- Monitor project information and compliance and ensure data integrity of the SPI database
- Manage & deliver SPI Trainings for all end users.
- Development of Guideline, Procedures and Standard Work instructions for SPI
- Work with Business Process Owner to define and implement enhancement and new process Improvement solutions.
- Work with Global team and Site Business Process owners and focal to implement Digital solutions and support proper integration.
- Support multiple SPI interfaces and integration with different systems
- Support Instrumentation team in safety and Instrument analysis.

What we need from You
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Instrument engineer with at least 10+ years of experience in Field Instrumentation & Smartplant instrumentation (SPI), with demonstrated competence in Information management environment
- Experience in Smart Plant instrumentation (SPI) with PLC/DCS wiring and usage of Loop layouts.
- Strong hands on designer experience using all modules of Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation viz., Instrument Index, Instrument Spec Sheets, Wiring, Process Datasheets, and Loop Diagrams Modules.
- Skilled in Smart Plant Database Administration set-up
- Skilled in other Technical IM Tools (e.g. SPEL, EDMS, AVEVA E3D, SAP PM, etc.).
- Knowledge of data integration between different Instrument data bases systems like Pi, Dynamo, SPI and SAP to support correct data modeling for supporting Digitalization.
- Knowledge of project management, requirement gathering and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Information Management Policy and Processes
- Experience of working in an Asset O&M team will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong data analytical skill
- Sound knowledge in SharePoint/O365 tools (MS Teams, PowerApps, PowerBI, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.) along with thorough understanding of its capabilities, features, and limitation

- Experience in working with unstructured data sets
- Experienced in working with AGILE, KANBAN methodologies
- CI methodology in support of Operational Excellence Activities
