**Job Overview**:
The Marine Manager is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels, crew management, regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of marine operations. This role involves overseeing marine logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and legal standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Marine Operations Management**:

- Oversee daily vessel operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, local regulations, and international maritime laws.
- Supervise marine logistics and ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Manage the coordination and scheduling of ship arrivals and departures.
- Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of vessels to meet operational standards.
- **Crew Management**:

- Recruit, train, and supervise maritime personnel, ensuring proper certification and qualifications.
- Ensure crew welfare, discipline, and compliance with work schedules.
- Provide guidance and training on safety protocols, operational procedures, and technical skills.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Develop and enforce safety policies and emergency procedures.
- Ensure all operations meet safety regulations, including the use of safety equipment and adherence to national/international maritime laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., pollution control, waste management) and ensure compliance.
- **Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Develop and manage the marine department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Monitor and manage the cost of vessel maintenance, fuel, and other operational expenses.
- **Environmental and Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all maritime activities meet environmental standards.
- Stay updated on maritime laws, regulations, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
- Handle inspections, audits, and documentation for compliance with relevant authorities.
- **Maintenance and Asset Management**:

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of vessels to ensure they remain operational and safe.
- Manage dry docking schedules and other maintenance activities.
- **Incident Management**:

- Lead investigations into any incidents or accidents, ensuring thorough reporting and corrective actions.
- Report any marine-related incidents to regulatory bodies and stakeholders in a timely manner.
- **Stakeholder Communication**:

- Communicate with port authorities, regulatory agencies, clients, and other stakeholders regarding marine operations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on performance, safety, and operational efficiency.

Pay: From QAR6,000.00 per month
