**Overall Responsibility**:
The role of prescribing doctor will be to provide a critical role within all of the clinics. The doctor will be medically responsible for the clinics and provide medical leadership to the clinics and teams on their assigned working day for the full clinic opening hours.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

- **Work autonomously within a clinic, pop up, concierge environment**
- **Consult with customers on appropriate treatment protocols**
- **Consult with genetics customers with their results.**
- **Possess excellent vascular access skills**
- **Demonstrate competence in the mixing of IV medication/infusions**
- **Safe and effective prescribing of therapies**
- **Provide specialist advice to customers.**
- **Safe and effective management & follow up of adverse events**
- **Demonstrate competency in managing anaphylaxis and BLS.**
- **Work within their capabilities and escalate any concerns to the lead Medical Director.**
- **Participate in audit and daily checks of the clinical environment**
- **Act as an effective clinical and professional role model supporting customers and fellow IV practitioners**
- **Maintain own knowledge, skills and competence**
- **To ensure all e-learning is completed.**
- **Keep updated on new advances in treatment and developments in the field of IV and vascular access**
- **Demonstrates excellent ICT/telemedicine skills**
- **Attains a high standard of communication skills**
- **Demonstrates a passion for preventative health**

- **Inspires confidence and motivation**
- **Clearly defines expectations, and maintains personal effectiveness under pressure**
- **Implementation of all policies in the clinic**
- **Provides clinical mentorship and support to IVP ‘s**
- **To mentor IVP’s and support in areas where personal development is identified.**
- **Medically supports clinic manager.**

**Working Patterns**
- **Plan and manage effective prescribing patterns and systems.**

**Prescribing**
- **To prescribe therapies for our customers, on the day of work. This will include a face to face consultation prior to the prescription generation.**
- **Work with the operations manager to prescribe doctor’s stock and patient specific prescriptions as part of the ordering process.**
- **Fast and clear correspondence with the IVPs/Clinic Managers to approve or decline failed medical screening and walk in appointments.**
- **Working with the clinic manager to ensure that incomplete medical screenings are completed before out of hours.**
- **To cover prescribing throughout the clinic opening hours on that day.**

**Full training and induction process will occur.**

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
