Doha, Qatar Transportation Management Services (TMS) Full time

**Purpose**

Reporting to Management, the Coordinator, Tournament Bus Services Operations is responsible for;
- Supporting in the set up of assigned Bus Space matching the planned design
- Assisting in the management of the service to ensure an efficient and successful operation is executed and;
- Training and coordinating the Workforce onsite as well as guiding TBS Drivers as needed

The operational locations of TBS services are across all Stadiums, Transport Hubs, Metro Stations, Park & Rides, Bus Staging, Airport, Accommodation & Central Doha. This position could be assigned to a single location or could be assigned to multiple areas dependent on the needs of the Tournament and operation.

**Qualifications**
- University Degree required
- Fluent in English (fluent in Arabic a plus)

**Event Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of progressive responsibilities and work-related experience, and any combination of education and training, which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job, combined with demonstrated professional growth and achievement
- Previous involvement in planning and operating complex events in size and nature of a FIFA World Cup

**Primary Duties**
- Assist in ensuring a smooth operation at assigned location ensuring the safe & efficient movement of a large number of Buses
- Oversee load zone operations by counting passengers from queuing to boarding Buses to ensure maximum occupancy while avoiding overloading
- Training of all Staff to ensure competency for a complex operation as these Staff will be providing clients/spectators with TBS transport specific information, for e.g. times, routes & locations of services
- Supporting TBS Drivers with clear communication & direction onsite
- Ensure an effective, safe and secure location
- Assist in the operations to achieve objectives for safety, environmental, quality, cost, delivery and continuous improvement
- Assist in ensuring operations are executed in compliance with established standard work instructions, training and operation plans
- Deputise for Management as and when required

**Knowledge and Skills Required**
- Experience in coordinating large teams and working with a variety of stakeholders
- Experience working with governmental services and agencies
- Strong management skills and experience leading large teams
- Experience working closely with various internal and external parties including security, police, government agencies and tournament operations teams.
