**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate, monitor, and maintain steam boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on boilers, pumps, valves, burners, and controls.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operation, water treatment, and daily log sheets.
- Conduct boiler water analysis and chemical dosing to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler malfunctions and perform corrective maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and system upgrades.
- Respond promptly to boiler alarms and emergency situations.
- Ensure energy efficiency and minimize downtime in boiler operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the boiler room and associated equipment.

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**
- Technical/Vocational Certificate in Mechanical Trade.
- **Certified Plant Mechanic** preferred.
- Minimum **3 years of experience** in steam boiler plant operation, maintenance, and testing at a similar level of responsibility.
- At least **3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting** (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of boiler systems, water treatment, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and log reports.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Locally available in Qatar with valid visa and QID
