The Resort Hostess is responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the overall comfort and satisfaction of guests during their stay at the resort. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Resort Hostess works under the supervision of the Resort Manager and assists with various duties and tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the resort.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Guest Service
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at the resort
- Provide accurate information and recommendations regarding resort amenities, activities, and local attractions
- Answer guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Arrange reservations and bookings for guests, ensuring the availability of accommodations and coordinating special requests

2. Concierge Services
- Coordinate and facilitate guest activities such as tours, car rentals, and spa appointments
- Provide assistance with transportation arrangements, including arranging taxis or shuttles
- Offer recommendations for dining, entertainment, and recreational activities in the area
- Collect and verify payment for guests' purchases or services rendered

3. Front Desk Operations
- Operate the front desk, handling guest inquiries, reservations, and payments
- Maintain accurate guest records, including room preferences, payment details, and any special requests or requirements
- Process guest charges, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate cash handling
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and inventory management

4. Cleanliness and Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the resort, including guest rooms, common areas, and recreational areas
- Sweep, mop, and dust floors, clean restrooms, and perform other general cleaning duties
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs to the Resort Manager or designated maintenance staff
- Stock and maintain supplies and amenities in guest rooms and throughout the resort

5. Emergency Preparedness
- Participate in emergency training programs and drills
- Assist with evacuation procedures and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Act as a liaison between guests and emergency services during emergencies

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in guest service, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with guests and colleagues
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of resort operations and guest services
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Working Conditions
- Physical demands: lifting, carrying, and standing for prolonged periods
- Working hours: shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Exposure to weather conditions: indoor/outdoor work environment
- Potential exposure to hazardous substances: cleaning products and equipment
