**PROJECT SAFETY OFFICER**

We're on the lookout for a dedicated Project Safety Officer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry to join our leading client on their new project.
- Safety Certification from an internationally recognized body such as NEBOSH, IOSH, NSC, BCSP, etc.
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering or a related safety discipline (preferred).
- Specific experience in managing EPC/EPCm-type projects.
- Knowledge and proficiency in HSE Regulations and Best Practices (OSHA, ISO, 14001, OHSAS 18001).
- Qualified in crane safety, lift plans, rigging, flagger safety, confined space, hazmat handling, fire prevention, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, working at heights, fall protection, first aid, CPR, incident investigation, risk assessment, occupational health, industrial hygiene, PSM, BBS, safety training, auditing, EHS compliance, ergonomics, and human factors.

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Oil and Gas: 5 years (required)
- EPC/EPCm-Type Projects: 5 years (required)
- Onshore & Offshore Working Knowledge: 3 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- NEBOSH, IOSH, NSC, BCSP (required)
