**Job Summary**:
The Chef de Partie - Pastry & Bakery is responsible for preparing high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards. This role involves overseeing a specific section of the pastry and bakery kitchen, managing junior chefs, and ensuring smooth operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all products.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Pastry Chef.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
- Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) guidelines.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to minimize waste.
- Introduce new pastry and bakery items to enhance the menu.
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate modern pastry techniques.
- Work with the team to create special event and festive dessert items.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a pastry or bakery section.
- Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert plating.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creativity in pastry arts.
