**Commissioning Lead: Telecom**

**Location: Doha, Qatar (1 year), then China (1 year), then Qatar Offshore (Rotation) until 2026**

**Mission**

Ensure safe commissioning, start-up and maintenance execution on Telecommunication Systems, compliant with HSE rules, legislative regulations and international standards

**Tasks**
- Ensures that all activities within his area of responsibilities are done in full compliance with the HSE requirements.
- Acknowledges the involvement of its job role in the PTW system and verifies the safety measures described in the PTW for its job role involvement, including area preparation and restoration.
- Identifies and controls hazards to avoid damage to equipment, personnel, and the environment.
- Executes the tests and inspections according to the project documentation, together with his team of technicians and vendors.
- Log the test results into the approved test/inspection forms and reports.

**Required Skills**:
**Commissioning, Start-up and Telecom Activities**
- Experience on main Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Maintenance and Troubleshooting Activities on Telecommunication Systems

**HSE Work Practices**
- Knowledge of the main risk during the operation activities and safe working environmental protection procedures, practices and rules to be applied
- Knowledge of adequate Personal Protective Equipment: purpose, use and maintenance
- Knowledge and the correct use of Permit to Work system

**Qualifications**
- Relevant degree, HNC, or significant relevant experience and trade qualification.
- Minimum of 8 years of total experiences with at least 6 years demonstrated as commissioning experience in major capital projects
- Experiences for preparation and set-up of of system completion data base and technical commissioning deliverable for Telecom commissioning.
- Experiences for commissioning and execution of Telecom equipment's package such as RADIO (UHF/VHF, VHF MARINE), AIS, RACON, Access control, PAGA, Data LAN & WAN, Meteorological, CCTV, Telephone, etc. fabrication yard and onshore and offshore interface work with other contractor.
- Experienced in managing EPC contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors involved in the oil and gas project at many locations.
- Worldwide commissioning experience with contractors or under-companies, in particular those involved in the Commissioning and start-up support of Offshore production facilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
- Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications, International standards, and working knowledge of Industry standards
