Job description

**Job Title: Commissioning Control System & Instrumentation Lead**

**Location: Doha, Qatar**

We are looking for a skilled **Commissioning Control System & Instrumentation (ICSS) Lead** to join the **an Expansion Project** offshore team. Reporting to the Head of Commissioning, you will manage ICSS commissioning activities during the project’s preparation and execution stages, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and oversee **ICSS commissioning activities** offshore and onshore, focusing on timely and safe execution, particularly during **SIMOPS**.
- Monitor and guide contractors to ensure compliance with commissioning methodologies and the use of the **ICAPS** system.
- Manage **electrical commissioning**, prioritizing onshore activities to optimize schedule efficiency.
- Ensure strict adherence to **ICS Cybersecurity** requirements during commissioning.
- Ensure the availability of necessary **spare parts and tools** for ICSS commissioning.
- Oversee vendor activities, including **SAT**, **punchlist clearance**, and **OTP**.
- Serve as the central point for all ICSS commissioning activities, ensuring proper **system completion** and database management.
- Review and approve **commissioning deliverables** from contractors, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Promote collaboration across teams to meet project objectives in **safety**, **quality**, **cost**, and **schedule**.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure lessons learned are captured for future projects.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- ** Degree** in **Control Systems Engineering** or related discipline with** experience**in commissioning major projects**.
- Experience with **Honeywell ICSS systems** (e.g., **Experion PKS DCS**, **Safety Manager SC Controller**, **FDM**, **Alarm Management**).
- Hands-on experience with **ICS networks**, **Cybersecurity**, and **field instrumentation** (ESDV, MOV, transmitters).
- Expertise in **system completion databases** like **ICAPS** and knowledge of **OPERCOM methodology**.
- Experience managing contractors and interfacing with various teams during commissioning execution phases.

**Skills**:

- Strong **communication** and **teamwork** skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Solid **problem-solving** abilities and **supervisory experience**.
