The resort boasts panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.
**Job Description** Head Bartender**

The Head Bartender is responsible for leading the bar team, overseeing daily bar operations, ensuring high-quality beverage service, and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing inventory, training bartenders, crafting unique cocktails, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Supervise and lead the bar team, ensuring efficient and professional service.
- Train new and existing bartenders on mixology techniques, customer service, and bar operations.
- Organize shift schedules and assign duties to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, wines, and other beverages according to venue standards.
- Develop and curate innovative cocktail menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
- Ensure proper garnishing, presentation, and consistency in all drinks served.
- Maintain strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktail pairings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a premium experience.
- Engage with guests to recommend drinks based on their preferences.
- Handle VIP and high-profile clients with discretion and professionalism.
- Manage and resolve customer complaints or special requests efficiently.
- Oversee bar cleanliness, organization, and proper stock levels.
- Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol laws, health and safety regulations, and venue policies.
- Maximize upselling opportunities by recommending premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Head Bartender, Lead Mixologist, or Senior Bartender in a high-end hospitality.
- Expert knowledge of mixology, cocktail crafting, spirits, and wine pairings.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for luxury hospitality.
- Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) is an advantage.
- Multilingual skills (Russian language will be an advantage).
